1. Sweet Whimsy
This whimsical and delicious cake was a masterpiece! It was the crown jewel of the reception at The Magnolia Hotel in Downtown Houston.

2. Evening Glow
A romantic glow is cast upon the sign-in table and was inspired by the theme of the wedding, An Eclectic Evening, orchestrated beautifully by Jerelyn Gooden of Design Source.

3. A Mother’s Touch
Janice’s Mother escorts her down the aisle for a fun mock-ceremony that was performed at the beginning of the reception as Janice & Jiles had a destination wedding.

4. Paparazzi!
Guests were encouraged to snap a shot at a perfect photo-op of the family and post it to Facebook.

5. Get Busy
I don’t know what you call this move but I like it! Guests danced the night away to a live band.

My clients are the best!

Another sweet card I received. :)

1. A Tender Moment
A touching moment as Liza’s Dad escorts his Daughter from the Bentley to the front of the church moments before she walks down the aisle.

2. Get Down
Liza and John mixed up their First Dance thanks to Lewis Grell of LG Entertainment. The dance began with the tender, “The Way You Look Tonight”, then quickly was remixed to “Suavemente”. Guests were on their feet clapping with joy and excitement!

3. Baile!
Liza and her flamenco troop surprised guests with an exhilarating performance.

4. Grand Exit
Liza and John sneak a kiss on their way out of the reception along with their friends and family showering them in bubbles.

5. The After-Party
The Henson’s invited their guests who just didn’t get to party enough to the San Luis Resort’s posh pool + lounge, H20.

Got this nice card in the mail from Mr. & Mrs. Andy Henson.

Best wishes to John & Liza Henson on their wedding this past Saturday! It was a special night for all. And to all of you, I have a special treat to share. It’s with great pleasure I present to you their story with a reminder that fairy tales really do come true. Enjoy.

Here is a video I did for my client, Michelle. She is auditioning for the Oprah OWN contest. You can help her win by voting here.

I’d like to give a shout-out to my new friends Ana & Steve and their extended family. What beautiful people they all are. I had a great weekend spending some time with their gang. Ana’s exuberance and faith is truly like a bright beacon of light. She was really excited about honoring Steve’s Polish background by having their rehearsal dinner at The Swinging Door along with a live polka band by Brain Marshall. Kudos to The Swinging Door too for their fine service with an extra scoop of friendliness. Here are a few stills from their video to come.

A glimpse of Anne-Marie & David’s elegant wedding at La Colombe d’Or in Houston, Texas. Cinematography by Imagine Videos. Photography by Apertura.

All of the footage in this video was shot with the Canon 7D.
